GOOGLE ADWORDS
AdWords is Google’s main advertising product and offers Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, and site targeted advertising for both text and banner ads. Advertisers create ads and choose keywords or phrases related to their business. Google matches advertisements with web sites which are targeting a similar audience by crawling the content of web site pages and supplying advertisements that are relevant to the visitors of that site. Advertisers can also bid to appear on a particular site on a CPC (cost per click) or CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis.
AdWords ads are eligible to be displayed on Google’s search network (which includes AOL Search, Ask.com and Netscape) and on sites that use AdSense (these sites form Google’s content network). AdSense is Google's syndication service for its AdWords ads.
