GOOGLE ADSENSE
AdSense is an advertising program run by Google that delivers relevant text and image advertisements that are precisely targeted to a participating web site’s content so as to be relevant and useful to the visitors of that site. AdSense is Google's syndication service for its AdWords ads. Currently AdSense uses JavaScript code to incorporate the advertisement into a participating site.
Web site owners displaying such ads are paid whenever visitors click on them. Owners can also filter out specific competitors or specific advertisers. Advertisers can bid to appear on a particular site on a CPC (cost per click) or CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis.
AdSense for search - allows web site owners to provide Google web search and site search to their visitors. This enables the site owner to earn money by displaying relevant Google ads targeted to the search results generated by the visitor’s search request.
