KEYWORD RICH COPY DEFINITION

In a nutshell, you want your site pages to be found for terms relevant to your products and services AND (this is important) terms that are being targeted by search engine users. KeywordRichCopy is page text that includes references to logical search terms. If you perfectly target your page content to your products, but nobody is looking for the terms you have chosen to emphasize in your copy (page text), then you aren't likely to get much search engine traffic. On the other hand, if you target terms that people are looking for but aren't related to what you are actually promoting, you will end up with unqualified traffic that will most likely click away from your site as soon as they get there (e.g., if you sell lawnmowers, targeting the phrase "Britney Spears" just because lots of people might be searching for this term is illogical).

So, the idea is to research what people are actually typing into the search engines (see KeywordResearch) directly related to your products and services and then write site copy that sells your "product", while utilizing relevant terms that are being searched for by web surfers. There is no standard formula for how many times a given term should appear on a page, but use it too much and the search engines could penalize or ban your site for KeywordStuffing.

If you are able to write site copy that describes your product and services, based on keywords that you have researched and the density of these keywords is high enough to get search engine traffic (but not to get you site tagged for KeywordStuffing), you site most likely has keyword rich copy.
