META KEYWORDS TAG
A meta keywords tag contains keywords related to a web site. When the internet was in its infancy and search engine databases were small, the use of meta keywords tags was a quick, easy method to help decide which keywords might be important on a site. Due to abuse search engines no longer give much weight to the tags contained within a web document, but rather the actual content of the pages.
