PAY PER CLICK DEFINITION
Also known as PayPerClickAdvertising or PPC, PayPerClick is an advertising model utilized in online marketing campaigns, in which advertisers pay for ads based on the number of times the ad is "clicked", after which action the person clicking is taken to the web page of the advertiser's choice. There are a number of search engines offering PPC advertising, with the largest including Google AdWords, YahooSearchMarketing and MicrosoftAdCenter.
